Nara Legrand
CEO & ACADEMIC COACH
Earned a perfect score on the SAT and attended Columbia University in the City of New York for her undergraduate studies. In 2008, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a pre-medical concentration. Subsequently, she earned a graduate degree in women's and gender studies.
Nara has worked for various academic institutions–including tutoring centers, elementary schools, and community colleges throughout the New York City Metropolitan area–teaching elementary school students as well as high school and university students. With this experience, Nara is intimately aware of what’s required of students at each stage of their development. In fact, her workshop “How to Raise Brilliant Children” was rated the #1 workshop at the United Federation of Teachers Manhattan Borough Conference in 2019 and 2021."
Nara is in her element helping students to connect to concepts within mathematics and the sciences, while also drawing similarities between mathematical approaches and the humanities. Using the knowledge she’s accumulated over the last 10+ years, Nara has created the Rhodium Bridge Method to teach her SAT students, which has resulted in over 90% of her students achieving a top 10% SAT score.
